  1. Hello all, this is RB putting in an appearance and hopefully releasing some long overdue WIPs...Just getting to grips with the new tools and remembering how to do the shit i used to take for granted. Not used a graphics package in a long time...I think i should have got better eyes from Chew. ;)

  2. I'd the inhibit plug fitted too Chris? The one that sends them to the hopper sounds like it's routing correctly.. it just sounds like it's not getting the signal to inhibit the hopper route. The inhibit wire will just be one or two wires which join to the loom. Not to be confused with a routing plug.

  6. You can but I doubt it will get you anywhere. If you know someone pretty good with PC's then you could try as I suggested and run a check disk on the HDD by removing it. Plug in a keyboard and hit ctrl escape then you are into windows. Just remember it’s windows embedded so you have to unlock and commit any changes. I'd really advise against it unless you know what you are doing. If you can go back via ebay then thats got to be an option, as said above drop the seller/ebay a message and see how you go that way first.

  7. Get in touch with the seller he should be able to help you, it will be in their own interest to get it working for you to be fair. J

  9. No, but you've been sold a lemon and by your own admission you don't know the first thing about how to repair it.

  11. Received a message from Frank for the forum.... Hi guys, I know I have to finish the history but I have had to look for a new employment. Unfortunately the Williams formula one team took my previous employer for a few quid, like £30 million. I didn't want to wait around, and to be honest they just may brave the storm but I wasn't ready to sit back and be thrown on the scrapheap as I am not ready to put my feet up. I have a new task as Project manager to develop 17 acres of development land and 3 WWII Aircraft hangars so that should see me through to retirement. Promise to come back. Regards to all, best wishes, stay safe!

  13. You could just play the reels as you can work out roughly were they should land and you could get the machine happy enough to keep offering 4 nudges and just takes the lines when you can. These programmes had a percentage watchdog, so if the machine went too far under it would trigger a set of forced wins to level out the percentage. To combat this forced streak you had to take a win now and again to stop the machine getting too far behind. Say every £5 take a few quid. It would also depend the set percentage. You could click it if it started dropping in wins but this would potentially make the machine even happier as clicking these before the win even starts to count up in the bank would pay the full win on reset and that win wouldn’t be accounted for. 15. @Zippythanks for the link, just downloaded a whole load of ACE classics there so will keep me occupied for a while! On to OTB, how did you play for lines? I remember playing these years ago but line wins seemed to be very rare compared to other wins so how do you get them so often? I heard that you could "play for the lines" but never knew how to do it. Also, did you ever exchange any of the wins for features or just collect everything?
