Just got the new glass back for this machine last week and fitted it yesterday. It s actually been printed onto perspex and doesn't look too bad and was a very reasonable Β£70to do .so after a bit of head scratching with the reel deck it turns out the mpu 1 board Was faulty so a quick change and bingo she s working 100% again .so this machine really was a phoenix from the ashes project but glad to own a lucky nudge .here s the vid .10 points

Having finally started to organise my machines (and play them!!) I just about caught the first pot payout on this one, Β£52.70 so not bad I guess. So different to Pot Luck which likes to pay the pots at really poor values before the pots became more accumulative I guess. What a great machine this one is sounds and all ! Enjoy π4 points

Absolutely brilliant Nick great to see some love put back into this machine, it does look so good! The new glass replacement looks really nice, the restoration on the slots and mechs look new and the inside too, love it ππ Cheers Martin and to you too for the thought for my Club Climber, it does look so sad in the corner in the state its in, need to do something with it sooner than later as really miss playing on it!! βΉοΈ Bleedin back wheel, still wont forget that bleak day it happened π Thanks again for the thought and offer to for the help, by the Martin you don't really need the top glass in your machine really, if you could break it up use it for spares.... just an idea πππ Thanks again both ππ2 points

The photo would need to be 're-drawn' so its printable in the correct resolution using paint tools or software but its doable by someone with the right skills. I had a perspex sign photo'd and re drawn and printed some time back for a top-box for an old slotto machine that was similar just smaller scale, result was great (but granted no mirror effect silver involved). Most of Club-climbers upper artwork is around the outer glass as you know, inner is the feature boards. I have also seen decent artwork using film and the 'slip application' method of application directly onto plain glass! Be great to see Rob have a go π I always felt the biggest issue in our hobby is glass and artwork deterioration and recreation, an ability one day to recreate the glass would be awesome! maybe we'll never achieve the old silk screen printing methods but modern glass ink jet printing is pretty amazing. Oh if only we could get hold of the original artwork! dream on eh π€ apologies for the thread drift folks. Back on track to Nicks amazing restoration now......2 points

Next up here is my 500th Fme release and it's back to the 90's for me with this revisted slot "supertwo" the sister machine of "TakeTwo" which i thing take two is better. I'll let you decide on that one. play em both side by side!!! The reason i've redone this as the earlier version i made was a tad small (1024) so found the original image i made up and relight it, making a few changes to the original layout thankyou goes to the original supplier of images @launton i think as he owed this machine before Steve Lancette had it what more can i say, other the Enjoy and Happy Gaming just like its 1991 Now i must push myself into making a new layout for the 501st Fme release Super Two Dx v2.zip1 point

This machine was in good condition already to be fair, but look at it now could be brand new ππ I remember this particular game at the social club I worked at alongside Adders & Ladders - in comparison it was a hard profile with rare small wins (lowest win was Β£1) and no 20p cherries etc as Barcrest players will recall BUT (as I am now learning with my own machine!) when pushed it pumps out big wins that itβs neighbour rarely did. Great game to play even with some bad memories of it stealing all my wages AND my tips ππ β¦β¦ but my goodness it eats Β£1 coins ! Needless to say back then the earner was adders & ladders as the harshness of fairground didnβt suit the members in that club it would seem. Iβm pushing it now for the jackpot and hopefully pot too once it builds.1 point

No Nick its running 5p/Β£75 I was amazed it got that high but delighted same time! Pot luck gives away sometimes under a tenner!! π¬1 point

Cheers mart and yeah I've mentioned it to Rob. However the club climber is quite a bit more involved .I had the artwork drawn from the original glass which was the main cost .I'm not sure a photo would have been any good as the old glass had too much artwork missing .the perspex option is certainly a cheaper way if doing this and there are very few places printing onto glass as well .the full screen print option with mirroring effect is hugely expensive as you say .1 point

Maybe a perspex glass is what @RobT should try on Club Climber Nick? Photo of my artwork and boom ! gotta be worth a try especially as moat of the upper glass is a window through tot he rear perspex feature panels. It is a shame it can't recreate the mirror look but the alternative would be over a grand I am sure! Anyway, looks a great job to me! top marks and another saved as you say π1 point
