  1. Hi all. Been sitting on this for a while. Wanted to get it in a better cabinet but it's time consuming. Long story short, I always wanted to make my own fruit machine from being a young boy, so here it is. Excuse the cabinet, it's a proof of concept. It plays to (I think 80%). I based the hit rates of the original machine but had to make a few adjustments. I can give more details if anyones interested. Cheers P.S The sounds are recorded from the original machine but the speaker is a cheap wank thing.

  5. The Gambler Club electro from AFD (Automatic Fruit Designs LTD)... Like many other manufacturers of the era, this company was based in Cardiff too.... Built in 1976 this machine had the the most used feature of being able to gamble by doubling up wins by as much as 8 times. known for their much used large reflective glass made them a good looking machine. Great to see a back view which apart from some dust looks in very good condition and a plus, the very rare schematic is with it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265768434258?hash=item3de1087a52:g:aH8AAOSwOqBixXk9

  6. Apart from a chunk missing bottom right of cabinet and not a £100 jackpot😁, I does not look too bad for 18 years in storage.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195178307200?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

  10. Thanks. Just wanted to see if creating a fully working machine out of parts available was possible. It’s something I have been wanting to try for years. It started off by getting a reel moving. Then just built on top.

  11. That is both awesome and mind boggling to me. I built an MFME cabinet but this is next level stuff. Nice one.

  12. Don't mind helping if the end result is that the person keeps the machine. I helped with your deal em, sent you the regulator for free and even covered the postage. That got sold too

  17. Awesome dude nothing wrong with the cab though except for one minor detail, you need to add a lip on the payout tray, just cut a thin piece of wood and sand it off, that is all it needs tbh. Love it though John.
