Hi all. Been sitting on this for a while. Wanted to get it in a better cabinet but it's time consuming. Long story short, I always wanted to make my own fruit machine from being a young boy, so here it is. Excuse the cabinet, it's a proof of concept. It plays to (I think 80%). I based the hit rates of the original machine but had to make a few adjustments. I can give more details if anyones interested. Cheers P.S The sounds are recorded from the original machine but the speaker is a cheap wank thing.2 points

I can dig a board out. To be fair you are good. Your skill at track n field are better than your fruit machine buying skills 😉2 points

It took a long time mate. Happy with results. Still needs more work. Next is saving data (hopper level, coins in out etc) with no battery needed. Already got it working. It will auto save all data when you switch off 😎1 point

Just ripped these. Don't think they are in the rom DAT. Think Gary said they are 20P play and all wins doubled (probs not JP) so checking out which port to switch to 10P play. 20p sru shuffle.zip1 point

The information ive been able to find out so far is its a single side 35 point card edge connector original part number varelco 6072 3618. Unfortunately I cant find much online datasheet wise only information ive found is that varelco was a company formed to support connectors for elco. Ive found this on ebay but unsure whether it would be suitable https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274877262608?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4sCoxgsxSsW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=sL0CJFSqS56&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY1 point

I don't know how many connections there are on that card socket but ones that are similar are for the ZX Spectrum and there's quite a few places that sell them. I don't know what they are called but you can cut them to size if they are too big, if they're too short you're stuffed!1 point

I didn't find anything. think you'll be OK with them as no green on the pins. Get them pins streightened in the lower plugs as they are a right pain to remove. Get the forks pushed together too Think I had a quote for them ant £££ riduciolous1 point
