Had a bit of time to spare this afternoon so I decided I'd take the glass off so I could sort the frames and be ready for reassembly when I get the new glass - easy job (as most Barcrests of the era are thankfully) only disappointing part is the bottom aluminium frame is fixed and bolted into the wood so removing it would be a pig so I will have to try and polish in situ. Hope to grab the glass next week so I will pop pics when rebuilt. Here are 3 photos one is the machine before I took it apart (cleaned, casters added and fully tested) then the glass out and then the mask before I took each part off for adding to the new glass. The cabinet is excellent condition, looks to have had a dry life!!

Yeah looks like the BACTA data port for data capture/logging - it wont be required however the roms may be specific data port roms (but you say it still works s maybe not). Modern technology, data ports whatever next 😝
