  1. The one i liked was on blackjack club when you got a win you just kept gambling it till it loses. As soon as it loses switch the machine off at the wall then turn it back on, the money what you had just before you pressed gamble is then banked to your winnings pretty cool i thought at the time.

  2. not much being mentioned here in the few days so ill start a topic on ripping machines years ago when i was a kid. most of them were via the wall switch and i remember being caught doing it and slung out. TOP THE LOT: reset it as soon as it lands on LOSE IT. " " " " : reset it if it says NOT THIS TIME, you have untill the last reel stop. SMASH N GRAB VERSION 1: reset it on the smash before nudges empty from the pig, once reset it gives it to you again. (cant be done on later versions) CLOUD 999: when a win goes into the bank, as it is paying into the bank switch off. this clears the ram. within the first 10 to 20 quid you get 2 streaks. then you can do it again. BARX: get a pound in the bank. put one hand on wall switch and one on the collect. press collect as soon as you hear the solenoid hit the wall switch. when it resets the pound is still in the bank as well as one just popped out. (this was changed on later versions) there were cheats on monopoly and 777 heaven, 777 heaven i think if you kept putting a half credit in and collecting it it would flash HOLD once. if you made the half credit then into a full one it would hold, on a win you would do this. that was also changed and probably doesnt do it on any of yours. what tricks did you know? im not starting an illegal post so people go around arcades doing it as these machines are long gone and even if they were in they are bound to have wall switches hidden these days and new programs. im talking about late 80's very early 90's james

  5. This is why text is bollocks because 'saves me a job' means I can crack on with other stuff and you've been covered which is fantastic. It don't mean "well fuck you then"

  7. Yeah looks like the BACTA data port for data capture/logging - it wont be required however the roms may be specific data port roms (but you say it still works s maybe not). Modern technology, data ports whatever next 😝

  8. There was loads, BWB videos like Reno, Miami Dice and Monte had free wins in the feature but also the reels were set so you line up the Jackpot which also was a free win, you then had off/on emptiers like sys85s, Ace, M1as, Projects and also manual ones like Barcode and Galaxy, was a free for all for those that were in the loop around that 80s/90s period. Vogues like Big Banker and Big Bucks on (£6) could be done via on/off as had no alarms on it. The list goes on and I could go on all day with my experiences.

  9. When i worked at Bell Fruit there were huge bins of the 10mm bulbs. They were there for the taking. You used to use a scoop to get them out. A bit like pick mix. I have hardly any now, I should have stock piled em

  10. The Gambler Club electro from AFD (Automatic Fruit Designs LTD)... Like many other manufacturers of the era, this company was based in Cardiff too.... Built in 1976 this machine had the the most used feature of being able to gamble by doubling up wins by as much as 8 times. known for their much used large reflective glass made them a good looking machine. Great to see a back view which apart from some dust looks in very good condition and a plus, the very rare schematic is with it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265768434258?hash=item3de1087a52:g:aH8AAOSwOqBixXk9

  11. Exchanges Unlimited and an arcade with dodgy nylon carpet - click 10p on the coin mech after shuffling your feet on the carpet - static causes it to reset - no reset alarm (unlike Line Up) and 1st spin after almost guarantees a win or 2 nudges - then repeat after payout. Empties a treat. Arcade owners fault for having cheap carpet! bj
