  2. Well chuffed with todays delivery must be the best kept and original machine I have yet come across….. had to swap the MPU but looks a simple fix and rest working 👍 prices are defo easing IMO was all ready for a bit of a bidding war and it went for a steal Credit to last owner

  3. Problem with trying to convert machines to new coins is that unless you replace the tubes for the correct size then they never really work right. I've seen some terrible bodge jobs over the years! That said, I keep all mine on old coins but then I do prefer that nostalgic feel of the heavier 10p and 50p coins.

I’ve spent a bit of time on it today and the only issue is some signs of artwork deterioration that ideally needs some kind of stabilising paint/spray or whatever to prevent it getting to a point of flaking. It’s on the bottom glass around the reels where there is no plastic laminate, the rest is fine. Anyone done anything to seal the artwork with success or is a job fraught with disaster? You have to really look to see it but it’s defo there and will, in time, get worse I’m sure. Ideas and experiences welcome from fellow restorers. Thx Here is a photo of just how clean the cab is!
