The string looks like it's making an electrical contact, rather than holding the latch physically. Look for something holding the latch, take the string off, and check the fuses. There's always something clicking of clattering when you turn on a Bally, unless the fuses are blown or missing. It's a nice looking machine. Love the artwork.1 point
