    It's Big Fruit, essentially the same as a game on and it will bring the 'try holding them all' feature back, it will also bring other features back like Step to Win etc, it's got that early code that affected those other games, in later games the reset memory is cleared stop them being manipulated. Bubbly Bonk and Over the Moon also have the same issue as they are early roms. J

    Managed to find an old RAM chip and that doesn't save either!! Can't think what else this could be as it's the same on 3 different CPU cards albeit only one has been tested with original RAM. I don't suppose there is a possibilty it's not meant to save credits, as daft as that sounds?

    My understanding always was, as has been said, if it's faster it should be OK. Like all these things you never say never! Unless anyone has had experience with this specific chip then I think the only option is to try an original and see if that works. Whether it does or doesn't still leaves the issue of how to fix it?
