  1. As promised, ROMs attached for Club Supreme by ACE. ROMs are M2764s. I have verified all these as good. Not sure if we have this version, hopefully someone can update me? Thanks [440] Club Supreme.zip

  2. Funny what you find when you dig in the back of the cupboard.... I have a few old SP.ACE boards and one of them had a set of ROMs in it, turns out they are Twilight Zone, and from what I can make out they are a Β£3 set? Would appreciate if someone with better knowledge of the emulator could give these a go and let me know if they are ok. The verify good so here's hoping! Twilight Zone.zip

  3. And the good thing is you only need the power plug in to test boot and speaker if you want to listen for the boot tone. Not lockouts so you don't need to work in the back of the cab. Make sure the keyway blanking pin hasn't fallen out of psu plug at mpu end!!! Glue the bugger in as they are known to fall out. I'll admit to killing a board being 1 pin out a few years back.

  4. Amazing stuff Matty. Don't worry too much if it doesn’t boot... you'll know to look at the data & address lines with no ROM in to see if they all pulsing, check RAM has 5.04V, Not-reset is high and look for pulsing on RAM pin 18 (the 2 transistors up cct can cause a no boot as can many things). Z80 isn't too different from other tec at a high level it's just a CPU with clock, rom and ram with a few inputs and outputs... Sorry I don't want to spoil all them nights of fun... then again, it's not so much fun when you don't have a good runner to compare to. The boot is the solid beep of about 2 seconds (first time you'll get the ram clear tone), then reels slowly turn to find position, then spin fast to position then lamps light with a tiny ping & into attract...

  5. Here's a few pics of how the board is looking. I've done as much work on the bench as I can do to hopefully make it a strong board... touch wood. Fingers are crossed could still take a while. The repairs are- 20% broken tracks 80% reinforcing damaged tracks Power rails are copper strip fixed with epoxy. All tested for leaks and ok Slowly getting there 😎
