Just thought I'd check up on those 0.47 Ohm resistors and they are probably correct. Ignore the diagram as there are quite a few differences between the various types of boards :- PcPlus, PC92, Procon etc. I don't have any to compare but it is in my notes so I've come across it before. Their function is detect any over current conditions which eventually signals the CPU to switch of the lamp matrix plus what's already been stated by Louie.

Picked this up yesterday from that horrible cunt @superbank. It works, so just needs a clean up and a once over. I'm very happy with it.

Well back to this one now - being as I already have Lucky Strike £100 version I decided to re-glass this one as £100 Sweep Stake. I managed to get a sweepstake donor some months back and finally just got round to giving this a go. The reels are identical on this machine to Lucky Strike, some messing with the lighting setup and BOOM! Had a bit of a game with the fact Sweepstake was a later version £1 payout whereas LS was 20p payout but finally got that sorted today too. I also managed to find the button panel on ebay (see pic) for £9 so managed to. basically create a full machine in the LS50 cab. Looks good and its actually a cracker to play!! glad I did it now. Just Super Series and Royal Exchange to go for the full set lol Time to enjoy playing it now.....

Received a message from Frank for the forum.... Hi guys, I know I have to finish the history but I have had to look for a new employment. Unfortunately the Williams formula one team took my previous employer for a few quid, like £30 million. I didn't want to wait around, and to be honest they just may brave the storm but I wasn't ready to sit back and be thrown on the scrapheap as I am not ready to put my feet up. I have a new task as Project manager to develop 17 acres of development land and 3 WWII Aircraft hangars so that should see me through to retirement. Promise to come back.
