I seem to remember those reel opto boards are famous for having a resistor burn up, I think Ron did a post about it a while back... EDIT: This might help...2 points

Wow... that's really great thanks very much for posting that... I will have a look later. The optos do seem to work as the tabs line up in Lewis's tests...LED comes on.. It does fault with the opto plug plugged in. Im probably wrong but I'm wondering if those resistors draw being burned up and can trigger any of the overcurrent Row/column circuits on the board. Something else to look at š This is a good one1 point
