  1. So, first of all another shout out from me to @riche100 for passing this on via the wonderful Mecca - another local freebie here in lovely Devon which I find hard to refuse. I do not know this machine or tech but thats part of the fun right ?! Anyway, here is a pic of the machine a 1997 Carry on Clubbin' from Global games, also a pic of out back where its very clean and original. Cab is in excellent shape and looks to have been dry stored which is a nice bonus too. Lots of spiders living been in the back, couple of live ones thrown in. Tech I have since learnt is Global 'Stealth' and I though I was in for an easier ride when I quickly observed the battery was on the game card (photo), but that was short lived when I could see it had also hit the main board below and via the game card slot. I still am hopeful I can fix the main board mind you, we shall see!. First classic I have ever had with a hopper! I am going all modern 🤣 I'll update when I get her working but in the mean time if anyone has this machine or the original manual I would be very pleased to get a copy - it came with all the decals but no operator manual sadly. You cant have it all !

  3. It was a hex hack. I got lucky, I managed to find the locations of the various routines and convert them to my needs. After all the time I spent studying code from similar machines that had the exploits in tact, the hack was 3 main parts. The first hack I located was the code that added one to the reel position to stop the original nudge setups, this enabled the old route to jackpots but they’d also implemented a token watchdog so after 3 token jackpots in quick succession the machine stopped nudging. That was the most difficult and time consuming part, fortunately I had an unchipped Reno Reels so noticed the code that allowed the nudges had some extra code on Monte, so I was able to match the Reno code. Was delighted it worked as it was getting a little tiresome. I was fortunate as the roms had no protection at all. When I had a BWB setup I was missing the chr chips for some of my favourite games. I actually figured out how to clone the chr so I could use my Monte Carlo CHR chip and run any of other BWB video games. That was a huge undertaking and again it was a massive time consuming task. I was buzzing though, I don’t think I’d have the patience or time to do it again, it nearly sent me mad J
