  4. Just collected my first purchase of the Electro year, an all-there and running example of Double ACE. It's around 1968, at a guess, and although the coin entry plates have been decimalised, the payout glass is untouched. It's on 1/- (5p) for FOUR plays, and 2/- (10p) for 2x1/- change, which puts it in the old 3d. play category. Top win is for the melons, a remarkable £2 10 0. It pays the smaller wins in shillings, but from 10/- upwards in two-bob bits, five at a time. I'll try and get a picture or two. It's not one I've ever seen before, or even heard of, but I think it's a genuine ACE game, not a conversion.

  8. Not seen Double Ace for some time but yes, It is a genuine ACE Machine. This advert from 1969.
