  1. i hope the terrible downloads section can be sorted . Otherwise such a waste of time and effort etc people have gone too, to upload documents for reference and pleasure lets face it, downloads has been not working for many years now . which puts people off the forum, and people from even trying to look to find stuff anyway thanks midibob etc for the reupload

  2. Just collected my first purchase of the Electro year, an all-there and running example of Double ACE. It's around 1968, at a guess, and although the coin entry plates have been decimalised, the payout glass is untouched. It's on 1/- (5p) for FOUR plays, and 2/- (10p) for 2x1/- change, which puts it in the old 3d. play category. Top win is for the melons, a remarkable £2 10 0. It pays the smaller wins in shillings, but from 10/- upwards in two-bob bits, five at a time. I'll try and get a picture or two. It's not one I've ever seen before, or even heard of, but I think it's a genuine ACE game, not a conversion.

  3. Not seen Double Ace for some time but yes, It is a genuine ACE Machine. This advert from 1969.
