  1. Thanks to Andrew and Midibob for your help and tips. I can happily say Andrew the pots were to blame…… see attached. Have a great weekend all and thanks for the help. First two repairs done feels good to do it yourself. IMG_6765.mov

  3. BS3_9.bin Been a few years since i did this (2012), below are my notes and the file i had Copy bootstrap file onto a usb stick (smaller 4Gb if pos). Bootstrap file must be called "mpu6boot.bin". Copy a software (.bin file) onto the usb stick also. Power off machine. Power on machine holding the enter button on the mpu6. Using the up/down select erase and press enter. Mpu6 will now erase the software file (**note it only erases the running software not the bootstrap file**). Power off machine and then insert usb stick. Power on machine. Mpu6 copys bootstrap from usb stick onto mpu6. Once finished power off machine and remove usb. Power on machine holding enter on the mpu6. Using the up/down select bootstrap and press enter. Insert usb stick and select the bin file for the machine Once finished remove usb and reboot machine. The machine should boot up Done!

  7. I will try that once I have the new battery on board. I have soldered some links wires to the board and will mount a 2xAA battery holder to the outside case. Just wait for one off ebay.
