Hi Bob, well I can post my first successful board repair! Spoke to player and yourself and did exactly that, followed the orange cable and metered it. swapped transistor and here we have it….. thanks for all your input, and yours player even though I didn’t speak to you on here today 😂😂 feels good to do something I knew I was capable of and see as working machine. I’ll keep this other board as is Bob, it’s been useful for this excercise and am sure is fixable at some point but for now I’ll see if and what spares I can get before I worry as I’m sure I’ll get more faulty stuff! next the psu when the pots arrive next week.
