  1. Steep learning curve on MPU6 for me these last couple of weeks 🙂 Quick update on this, thanks to @Digbyfor the above info/file and also @captainhaddockfor the game .bin file I have been trying with a few spare MPU6's to make sure I can re-load both the firmware (or bootstrap) and also the game. A bit of future proofing hopefully 😉 The MPU6's I have vary from bootstrap versions versions 3.7 (circa 2008) to 3.17 (2011). Digbys file above is 3.9 and wanted to be sure it was not T7 specific (it isn't)I also wanted to try my latest MPU6 game (Dublin-Up - 2011) with 3.9 an early bootstrap just to rule out hardware issues and I am delighted to report it works 100%. The only noticeable difference in bootstrap versions I have observed so far is 3.17 will take bigger USB sticks. 3.9 and below max 4gig (I used 2 gig). So I feel a lot more confident on the MPU6's now - when they become classics I will be glad to help (if I am still alive in 20 years or so or indeed if they can ever be classic! 😜) Happy days, close loop on this one anyhow, might help someone in the future. Oh - nearly forgot I also had a INVALID OS error on one of my 3.7 MPU's so I followed digby's instructions and upgraded it to 3.9 but kept getting back to invalid OS.. I tried again this morning after leaving the battery out all night and this is the process that finally worked for me to solve the INVALID OS issue on an AWP machine: Power up and get RTC Reset message (real time clock settings lost basically due to battery out) Power off wait about 30 secs Power on while holding the 'up & down' buttons (SELF TEST in display) ENTER test, scroll up to RAM TEST press enter Should say RAM PASSED Power off again Power on and now follow Digby's instructions above, except once the new BOOTSTRAP is loaded (after point 9 above in Digby's list) I did a RAM TEST again, powered off, and then I loaded the game software via the bootstrap menu. Job should be a good-un! Just a reminder this is for reel based machines I am talking about, not the T7 Final thanks to @fruit58 and @stevecroadfor the MPU6's (cheers chaps)and @fruitsnappato for the PM exchanges/help on this matter Sorry for the non classic chat here folks, i am off to Okehampton for 50 more lashes outside the town hall 🤣
