  2. Still waiting on new EPROMs and the UV eraser but as I had a few minutes free I thought I'd better dump the original ROM from my machine as a backup. It seems to have dumped fine, I checked the chip before to ensure it was the same type as the ones I was burning to (by peeling the existing label back enough to expose the markings), and having looked at the dump it looks as I would expect it to. Once the other bits arrive I can hopefully continue on my journey of messing about with different ROMs. Bit of a bugger that I'm doing 2x my contracted hours and days at work to cover a sick colleague for the foreseeable but that can't be helped. I'll find some free time somewhere
