I think it just produces a IN/OUT logic table, similar to what I have being doing with my ABI boardmaster 4000 for some years, It doesn't re-create the necessary file for a new chip, your still need to do that manually, and of course it only works if the chip is just used for normal computational logic! definitely not registered logic! (those that use the internal flip flops) So yes it may be if interest.... but it would be very useful if it could actually crack the read protect bit!! (which I don't think any programmers can even 40 years later), but I think of limited use in that field the normal day to day chip reads etc Floating about on the internet are what appears to be 'urban myths' about messing with the programming voltage a split second before reading which gets round the security, but that's just it! there is no firm proof this can even be done and shoving voltage up a chip that's precious is a very invasive way and could easily blow it up!! would you wanna risk it?

  2. Hmm, that's a tricky one. Tried looking under security screws and can't find anything with a blank top? They must be out there somewhere, it's knowing what name they go under!
