  2. Ok that was a red herring! I fitted the good cpu from the working board to the faulty one and the A0 and A1 addresses were still stuck lo so I put the good board back with the cpu from the faulty board and it worked fine so the cpu is good, not sure if its buffer issues or what? I did check the start signal from the button to the chip responsible and it was giving the correct from hi going lo when start is pressed, also putting a 50p will add a credit and give change as it should

  3. Ok just an update on this SRU board to get reel 3 working IC2 a 259 was found to be bad, the stuck on start lamp was IC10 . Still remains a boot but no start game, so another member has been helping me try a few things, we found the adress lines A0 and A1 pins 16 and 17 of the cpu were stuck lo! thinking the cpu was the culprit I swapped in the cpu from the working board but no change to the fault or the stuck pins. Now I'm thinking either we are barking up the wrong tree or maybe the buffer is pulling these pins lo? Not sure Ronnie

  4. MPU2 machines need an extra rom in order to work. It's included in this starter layout, if you want to finish it off. The extra rom should work on all MPU2 machines in MFME. Most of the settings in the layout came form the other MPU2 machines already done and might not be 100% accurate. Just fix if needed. Fruitopoly.zip
