  1. Barcrest Coin Slot Decals I have re created the artwork for the Barcrest coin slot decals. There was a scan of the decal in the downloads section that I used for reference, it seemed to be a different layout as my machine so I am not sure if there are multiple versions. I knocked out the sliver rings and used a scan of my existing panel for the hole positioning along with various pictures of line up machines for reference. The layout is now in Adobe Illustrator and is with the printers to be transferred on to sticky back vinyl. As a test I printed the artwork on paper to make sure the sizing was correct. The frames are looking a bit worse for wear so will need to get them stripped and painted before final assembly. I've added some pictures of the different versions. Is there any logic behind the Barcrest logo at the top of bottom? Does it relate to earlier machines?

  2. Like what @PCP Fan has done to his Blue Streak I prefer when they show their age and look grotty as fuck, shows its age, nostalgia and makes me think "I wonder if I've ever played that exact same one in the 80s"! Great job cleaning up though, not an easy feat!!

  3. Not sure exactly why they moved the logo but I'm sure the length of the pay tubes and the reject tubes and the position of the coin manifold was at a different height to previous mpu3 small cab machines

  4. Very nice! good find. Think I did see this pop up recently. If it is hi-lights conversion then the original schematic will help, here it is save you the job with the not so wonderful downloads search on the forum 🤪 There are no individual fuses so hopefully it's just cabling along the way (I cant recall if there is a connector to the top wiring if so I would start there). Amazing how these MPU2's just keep on going, no battery to worry about and good old technology built to last. hi light wiring MPU2
