That is a lot of good work there Martin! A crazy amount of effort! 👏

So, regarding the glass sets - I had planned on using the 10p play reel glass and top glass but found out yesterday after carefully re-applying the mask the 10p play glass is wider!!! DOH!!! The bottom reel glass is fine of course. It's all down to the fact mine has the 2 old S10 mechanical mechs, not the Mars top right in the top glasses. So, having carefully peeled off the mask (again) and the old stick on 5p play awards I have been printing decals now to make the original glass work properly as I don't have the 10p set 2 small glasses for the top above and below the coin mech. I also did a 10p play decal to replace the 5p play one. Getting close now, just really hope the powder coating comes back OK as the frames were a sorry affair.

Yeah totally agree its staggering considering - not just its age but it was in a building where there was a fire and water to put the fire out! (main damage was the plinth to be fair it saved the rest I think) oh and vandalism! amazed she survived and glad to get it back running after 30 years stood in a closed down arcade in Grimsby 🙂

Nick, been messing with £2 decals. Think maybe a layer of black vinyl, transparent £2 then spray yellow over back, then a top coat of white. work in progress..... On it again tomorrow!!
