100% In all my restorations(just look at my projects on here)I like to keep everything as close to how it left the factory as I can. another one I fully restored is a 1978 Taito space invaders(I got this none worker free from a closed down B&B in Blackpool)it cost £450 just for the chrome work but it now looks as it did in 1978. believe it or not there are actually people offering services on eBay to gut these and put LCD and 60 in 1 boards in them. Total bastardisation of classic machines that people will regret in future. This still has its old black and white monitor along with multicoloured film on the glass.

It's unbelievable that people would destroy the originality in favour of convenience. That machine looks like it has just rolled out the Taito factory. Nice work.

Get it working. even though they don’t fetch the best price they are great fun if your having a few round your house. i like em.
