Through the last year I've been working on building a proper test rig for this tech as my original Heath Robinson rig left a lot to be desired. I managed to get some hi res pics of the official ACE tester and based it on that.
Being as I had a few boards in, the timing was quite handy and made life so much easier as I now had access to all the switch inputs and lamps.
I have feelers out for the test ROMs so I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed but for now I'm using various games internal test mode software to test all the functions.
I've also added the 4 led's at the top to monitor the feeds to extension cards. This wasn't on the official tester and only became apparent when I had a lamp fault reported. Obviously checking all the 80 normal lamps proved them to be OK and it was only when I asked the end user to tell me which specific lamps weren't working that I realised they were on an extension board.
