  1. Hey Nick, I tried an alternate approach to powder coating and sprayed my own frames with RAL 7001 and got amazing results on the top part of my supertubes, you tried any of yours yet? Top painted, bottom original I would say thats a 100% match and a fluke result finding an exact colour RAL match eh:

  2. You should be able to bypass the 50p's try leaving it empty and see if the machine reverts to £1's and 10p's They are a pain, here is how I had to reduce one on an older MPU4 using a clear tube I managed to source. You can also line the inside of the tube if you can find the right size and material. I'd probably see if the machine will payout without 50's first.

  4. Yeah agree - the quick way around this without too much work is to load a lot of coins direct to the tube via the back door (drop them all in at once and the weight holds them) and then they work OK. Or you can line the tube to reduce the size but thats not as easy as it sounds as the tube sensor can stop seeing the coins. Replacing the tube is the only proper fix. Or forget 50p's as the machine should have 10p and £1 tubes too 🙂 Basically the new 50p is tiny to the old ones, 10p was the same back in the day too when it went new.
