  1. yes of course, i will as soon as i know for sure that they work well, i want to test them in the machine. i have ordered enough now, also for the mpu2, this one also has mchanice reel with the same sensors. I just checked, if all goes well they will arrive next week.

Yes of course, the cost is €3.64 for 10 pcs ex shiping, if you buy more shiping is free It was a lot of searching especially because they are generally expensive, and the viewing angle is large which is very common these days. also because the metal housing and the pin distance must be correct, together with the lens and the small viewing angle.

  5. small update, I found them (I hope) well from China, took a while before they arrived. 3DU5C Metal Encapsulated Silicon Phototransistor Metal shield and gold plated pins 2.3mm apart, fit perfect 10 degrees, tested with light bulb 3v (new ordered) same as original. tested with logic analyzer, first results are very good. I am waiting for new order that should arrive in a week had ordered a few to test. soon test on the LSI

  6. Yes the plunger just pushes in with a spring which pushes it back out. It also has a small metal finger link from the base of the solenoid to the lift arm (see pictures), Power to the solenoid lifts the plunger which in turn lifts the arm to release the reel drum and allows it to spin, Power off to the solenoid and the compressed spring drops the arm stopping the spinning reel drum.
