Well, as it says on the tin. I've not crossed into the darkside yet of WIn 7 or (shudder) Win 8.x. Now..I have a dilemma. I'm lead to believe that MFME works best in XP. There's some sound issues with later versions of Win OS. But I need to upgrade, as all things naturally move on. So..I've been looking at a few options. Firstly is a dedicated PC, that just sits unconnected, and is dedicated to MFME, MAME, and Vpin. That is what I'd like. But "Why do we need two PC's when we only need one??"..ahem.. Or Hit me with your best shot Microsoft, and I'll buy a win 7 PC..and suffer the sound issues..meh. Or.... How well does MFME work under a linux/ubuntu OS??..or is that just a flat outright..""There are places, no PC should go?" kind of discussion? Or.. Wizard could re-write a new MFME..I'm sure Chris would relish that. Or. I could just man up, and stop bothering people with stupid questions. I'm sure there are others in a similar kind of boat..so wondering what options there are out there. Or maybe a dual boot, with a USB filled with MFME porn??. Anyway..just picking what the community thinks about the whole XP issue. Oldskooler.
