Here's something a little different. A DX for Road Hog's follow-up machine, Road Hog 2- I'm Back. Set to £10/25p/92% Considered doing this machine for ages, so decided to take the plunge and get it done. Now, Road Hog, Road Hog 2, and Hot Rod are all done! The native resolution on this is quite large, so would suggest using 'Shrink To Fit', in MFME's options. Use MFME6.1 to play. Credits go out to tthe following people: Mark8864 - For the original DX. SPA - For the flier that was used. The shortcuts for this are: Cancel/Collect - ` Hold/Nudge - 1 Hold/Nudge/HI - 2 Hold/Nudge/LO - 3 Feature Exchange - E or F Start/Gamble - Space Accept Bid - A Reject Bid - R £1 Insert - 0 Have fun! Hello to the MPU Mecca members, thank you for having me. I been looking at the chats and cant believe the amount of knowledge and support out there! This is what the internet is about, sharing knowledge and providing support to likeminded people! I have an old MPU 4 machine and trying to sort out a few issues and would like some help and thoughts please. Firstly when the reels have spun and stop they seem to shudder/stutter - so the spin doesn't end smoothly, its like there is some feedback when they stop. They're not getting stuck or-out of sync but just not ending the spin smoothly like they should. In addition, there are some bulbs not working that I have changed and changed to no avail. Some bulbs are working before and after the squence but about 5/6 consecutive bulbs aren't working. This is at a couple of areas on the bulb grid. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated

BOO! Hehe! Hope I didn't scare ya ;) It's 90 days until Hallowe'en so what better way to celebrate than play this classic layout I've knocked up for Ghost Buster by BWB. It's set to 10p play, £6 jackpot and 78% payout. Keys are - ` - CANCEL 1,2,3 - HOLD / NUDGE F - FEATURE C - COLLECT SPACE - START Many thanks to whoever it was that uploaded the ROMs (there was quite a selection but I went for 10p play as that's how I remember the game), and also Wizard for MFME and for taking the time to get this particular one-off game running as I believe it was a bit of a sod to sort out. I had a bit of trouble with the TREASURE HUNT lamps always staying on for some reason, maybe it's just the ROMs? Also, there's a strange noise that gets played sometimes after pressing start. Maybe a hidden secret in the game but I couldn't work out what it is for. Lastly, if you get three mixed 7's on the winline you get a mystery feature, which I didn't even know until a couple of days ago! Any issues let me know and I'll fix and re-upload :) Have fun! Hi Everyone Recently bought The Mob by MDM, and until now it has been faultless. Playing about with it this afternoon though, it has developed a strange fault where the display is showing random characters. This machine will still play, and payout, just doesn't display properly. I have traced the cables from the display down to the bottom of the MPU4 board, and both ends are secure. Looking for some guidance as to what to check next? Thanks in advance! Steven

Hi Everyone Looking for either a complete replacement board that I can just plug and play (this might be the easiest option), or someone who can repair mine (suspected leaky battery). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steven

Hi, Here's the beginning of my second MPU4 mod4 restoration for a Barcrest Ambassador Gum 1000 : this board was the worst of the 4 boards, really nasty battery leakage, lot's of broken tracks. Burn signs on both ULN2803A and resistor pack 22k. I'll come back with the fix list asap. Cheers

Hi, A friend of mine bought 3 fruit machines Ambassador Gum, 3 with working bubblegum distributor, they where made for France or Belgium where money games are forbidden... Only one did turn on, the bassador 1000. The 3000 doesn't boot and the extra AG1000 will be the next project. Here's the restoration project for the Ambassador Gum 3000, MPU4 mod4. Following www.booze.net advices, thanks a million times Paul you convince me to do it, the battery has been removed, changed, and stuck outside the box. Mine had severe blue / greenish leakage damages from battery down to dataport. Audio amp, volume VR1 and neighbours look pretty bad.

Hi, I'm rebuilding 3x Ambassador Gum MPU4 victim of battery leakage. Vinegar bath, distilled water, new outboard battery,... The machine #2 itself is good and tested with a working mpu4. I'm working on MPU4 mod4 #1A : On start-up I have "AG3 0.2", the 4 wheels initialise but wheel C seems blocked, lights turn on and then "AL3" message is displayed and everything is blocked. The message error isn't in the error list, any idea ? Thanks Arno

Hi, I'm rebuilding 3x Ambassador Gum MPU4 victim of battery leakage. Vinegar bath, distilled water, new outboard battery,... The machine #1 itself is good and tested with a working mpu4. I'm working on MPU4 mod4 #1B : On start-up I have "AG3 0.2", the 4 wheels initialise, lights turn on and then "AGPR ERR" message is displayed and everything is blocked. I've tried different program module cartridges and always the same error. The message error isn't in the error list, any idea ? Thanks Arno

Hi, I'm repairing a mpu4 barcrest from an Ambassador Gum 3000. The battery leakage was really bad, so I rebuilt the broken tracks but there's still an audio alarm (two tones) and no light/ error message at all. I just can't find anywhere the explanation for this instant audio alarm at boot up and no lights at all. I've tried a working MPU4 and eveything works well If anyone have some help, I'd appreciate. Thanks Arno

Hi Guys. I am building a rig to test and repair MPU4s. I am looking for the test software for the rig. I did down load ut4 code and burnt on to a Rom (27c512), but this did not work. I am not sure if you have to use a particular type of program card, I have a few types of program cards but I could not get it to work on any. I would be very grateful for any advice and help. Pete
